General Services Bureau

The General Services Bureau provides network and technical support to the Division's staff, including overseeing installation of NCIC/NCJIS criminal history repository terminals and training designated personnel in their use and security policies. The unit is available for any special assignment or project requested by the Division's command staff.

The unit also maintains all archived offender files and is responsible for disseminating information from them to other agencies upon request.

In addition, the General Services Unit conducts internal policy compliance audits and provides written conclusions and recommendations to the Division's command staff.

Finally, the unit operates Headquarters' telecommunication system, directing telephone calls to appropriate personnel within the Division, or to appropriate outside agencies.
