All division
peace officers will obtain a minimum of 24 hours of annual training to
maintain their peace officer certification.
The courses
required by NAC 289, the state, the department, and the division
include, but may not be limited to, defensive tactics, firearms safety,
firearms qualification, expandable baton, domestic violence.
