Capitol Police - provides protection and police services on numerous state properties, enhancing the safety of visitors and employees on those estates.

Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security - Coordinates the efforts in reducing the impact of disasters by planning, developing, implementing and maintaining programs for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.

Investigation Division provides citizen protection through the identification and apprehension of predatory criminals and the disruption of criminal organizations.

Highway Patrol Division promotes safety on Nevada highways by engaging and educating the community, and by providing law enforcement and traffic services.

Parole and Probation Division enhances public trust and community safety, and provides assistance to the Courts and the Parole Board by providing professional supervision of offenders to promote their successful reintegration into society.

State Fire Marshal protects life, property and the environment from fires and hazardous materials throughout the state.

Records, Communications and Compliance Division provides complete, timely and accurate criminal justice information while balancing the need for public safety and individual's rights to privacy.

Training Division facilitates progressive, effective training in basic law enforcement, continuing education, career growth and development through professional and ethical methodology.

Office of Criminal Justice Assistance obtains and administers federal grant funds to state and local units of government and Native American tribes performing law enforcement functions.

Office of Professional Responsibility maintains a high level of training and knowledge of the administrative investigation process and procedures in conducting systemic, unbiased administrative investigations of allegations of misconduct against DPS sworn and non-sworn personnel.

Office of Traffic Safety provides funding and expertise, creates partnerships and promotes education to reduce deaths and injuries on Nevada's highways.
