Citizen Awareness

The “If You See Something, Say Something TM” campaign is part of a national effort to raise public awareness of the indicators of terrorism and violent crime, and to emphasize the importance of reporting suspicious activity. A critical element of this campaign is ensuring that individual civil rights and civil liberties are protected by the emphasizing that suspicious behavior, not appearance (race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, etc.), be used in identifying suspicious activity.
